The week that was - Week 1

How did 2013 go so quickly? It feels like that year barely began, and all of a sudden we’ve already finished the first few days of 2014. This week has been very, very quiet. I worked from home for the first two days, and apart from New Year’s eve (when we went a few tube stops away to a friend’s house for a late dinner), a nice long walk in Herne Hill and lunch later on today with a good friend, I haven’t really left house the house that much! I have managed a fair bit of exercise indoors though, and it’s been nice to hibernate a little bit before work begins again next week. It’s also been nice to have some quiet time to reflect on the things I want to focus on this year, to read about other people’s resolutions, which I always find really motivating, and of course, to have the time to set this blog up!

    Thanks for linking up. Sounds like a good week really. We are getting out actually this week but we don’t have to deal with too much public transport since we are a 10 minute walk to the centre of town.
